After some time trying to listen through the door, high pitched white noise blasts into Snitches earpiece, eventually transitioning to a feed of the conversation going on in the bar.
Valk: "Okay then, since we are all behaving so bloody nice to each other, Tag, you and your crew gets one chance to leave here, right now, out the front door. Sound good? I have business here with Faulk's man, not you."
[Well that's a relief, sounds like I won't be getting my hands dirty today. Bandana-girl, er, Tag seems to be on good terms with everyone in here.. Well, I'm willing to get out of here but I sure as hell am not putting this gun away]
Reverting to his standard appearance, Snitch exits the washroom lobby - Case in left hand, rifle in right. As the creaky door swings open the bar patrons look over to the previously unseen man carrying a rifle longer than he is tall. When Valk looks over her otherwise calm and cool face contorts for a moment as though she just saw a ghost.
Valk: "This a bloody class reunion? Not everyday you see a buddy who got geeked years ago, how ya doin' Alex?"
[Who the hell is this lady? She's being friendly enough for someone who stormed in with a gun so I won't complain, maybe she listened in on me talking to Hija earlier?]
Snitch: "Hey uh, Valk was it? My memory isn't what it used to be so you'll have to excuse me. I'd love to catch up with whoever you are, but I'm just gonna go ahead and take you up on your offer to get the hell outta here"
Snitch starts walking towards the front door, appreciating the luck of having been stormed by goons who seem to have a history with him.

Tag watches as the bathroom door opens. She's shocked to see a dead man walking out. Tag"Alex..." More to herself than anyone. When Alex gets closer, Tag reaches out and grabs his arm and spins him to face her. She lowers her bandana with her other hand, hoping to jog his memory. She searches his face for any hint of recognition and looks disappointed when she finds none. Tag: "Alex, what's happened to you?" She raises her bandana before releasing Alex's arm.

Snitch: "I was going to cover you guys if things got hot in here from the loo, we getting out of here or what?"
Misunderstanding the question by assuming Tag knew his name from his conversation with Hija, Snitch continues walking to the door without breaking stride.
Snitch: "Don't know how y'all were planning on getting out of here, but I can't fit four of you on the back of my bike - let's get somewhere a bit more private and figure out whats going on in here, alright?"

Hija: “’Dancing on the quantum waves?’ Wouldn’t a swimming metaphor be more appropriate? Then you could say they were riding on a river by She Who Does… Valk, or even better a stream because then its got a double-” QU37Z41C0471: “Little one.” Hija: “Sí, right. Have a look at that connection please. It would be useful to copy it if we end up in a cage like this again, but stay with us. We’re leaving, hopefully without being shot.”
The serpent bowed its head and uncoiled itself from around Rhys’ knightly commlink. Silently slithering to the newcomers he wrapped himself wound the thin strand of data that connected Valk to the outside world, careful to not disturb the thin thread as small bumps and lumps of interest rose to the surface. Hija lifted her hand eye to the two coils and looked over the the various mounds for information that might reveal to her what this connection was exactly and how best it could be replicated.
Hija nodded slowly when Tag’s pretty face appeared at the entrance to her table fort, it looked better without the bandanna covering everything. Grabbing her things Hija tried, and failed, to crawl out from under the table without coating her hands and knees with the unpleasantness that the bar’s floor and to offer. Standing she stood expectantly next to Tag for a few moments before a gentle push sent Hija on her way to following Snitch to the door.
Upon reaching him Hija tightly gripped the back of Snitch’s shirt, rolling the fabric in her hands again and again. It appeared the child was clinging on for guidance or perhaps reassurance but even the unseasoned scout could see the slowly spreading pool of grime across Snitch’s back. In her seemingly usual bratty tone Hija began mumbling just loud enough for her would be interviewer to hear.
Hija: “I think most of us were planning on leaving the same way we came, by walking. Don’t think we need your bike unless your back is already hurting walking from the toilets, anciano. You did make a few trips, though that is to be expected at your age.”

Cochise takes the opportunity to back out of the bar, following the others out.
"Y'all don't do anything I wouldn't, right? Take care now!"

Valk backs out the front door, giving everyone 15 feet of clearance to come outside. Valk: "So, Alex, Tag, are you going to be producing the cat that was my pet when I was 10? Is my gramma comin' out with a batch of cookies... Are you joking about gators or is there a fragging gator in there?" She inclines here head towards the lounge. The tazer guy stays inside, behind the bar you glimpse that he is clearly holding a grenade of some kind. You are all outside now. The driver an passenger seat are sealed off from the back of the van, the side door still open. The windows are opaque, you can't see if anyone is in the front seats. This close to the van, you see what appears to be a low slung weapon turret on top, trained on the window into the Croc Bar. All of the other patrons are slowly backing away from the bar and dartboard area and towards the jukebox area. In the matrix, QU37Z41C0471 tries to gently caress the data stream into telling him all of its secrets, but the data stream hardens with the gentle touches, and sparks and flares trying to resist the soothing call to share. OOC: This data stream is being defended by some active agent, you got a mark on it, that's all, you'll need another roll to get anything useful. OOC: By my count Hija should be rolling 14 dice: 2 from QU37Z41C0471's assist, 4 from skill points in hacking, 6 from logic, 2 from codeslinger. 2+4+6+2=14. Did I miss something? The 12 on your character sheet next to hacking skill is the total *pool*, accounting for stat, skill, and qualities. Also, Alex did a run with Valk and Tag about three years ago. Just one, it went fine. Alex has shown no signs of recognition to either of them.

Tag takes a deep breath, enjoying some (relatively) clean air while Valk talks. Once she stops, Tag looks at Valk. Tag: "Sorry, no cats or cookies. Oh there are two crocs actually, so good luck with that. However it seems that we should be on our way, so we'll do just that." Tag takes a few steps away, motioning for the others to follow. Once everyone has assembled she looks at them. Tag: "Okay, it seems like everyone is incredibly interested in each others business, so I propose that we all meet topside. I have a place for a few nights on the down low so we can meet there." She sends the address to the others and hands Rhys' commlink back to him with some reluctance. Tag: "Alright, we shouldn't move as a group, it would call too much attention to us, especially on the way out." Tag places a hand on Hijas shoulder Tag: "Come on, I know a good way out of here."

Leading the party out the door, Snitch tosses his case onto the seat of his bike, opens it up and starts packing away his rifle. The sudden sense of camaraderie with the people around him and the ease of the escape from the bar set his mind at ease after having been worried about worst case scenarios.
Tag: "Okay, it seems like everyone is incredibly interested in each others business, so I propose that we all meet topside. I have a place for a few nights on the down low so we can meet there."
Snitch: "Sounds good to me. I'll be sticking around here for a bit, always loved fireworks and that turret looks like it can put on quite the show! Don't forget our little chat Hija, maybe you can think about how you want that story to end."
Placing the case on the back of the bike, Snitch hops atop and tries starting the engine. Silence. Pulling the RFID fob from his side pocket and swiping it closer to the ignition, the bike still did not respond.
Snitch: "Bloody hell, I knew tonight was going too smoothly... Guess I'll be watching AND waiting for a locksmith. Don't suppose anyone would like to join me? I'll meet you guys at the safehouse as soon as I can."

Cochise takes a final look back at the door, and seeing nothing new coming through it, slings his Mossberg back under his duster.
"Ayep, there are a couple of crocs in that office. Not sure if they've had any work done on 'em, you should be careful.
"And Tag- the brief was to make sure you and the payload make it back topside. So I'll be making sure your Highness makes it out as easy as you make it in."
Cochise squints out at Tag from beneath the brim of his hat, the right side of his mouth elevated in a smirk.

Tag gives Cochise a bemused look. Tag: "Good to know that the higher ups have so little faith in me. Though they're probably more worried that I would just grab the package and book it until people don't speak English. Though I have been practicing my Mandarin, Nǐ hǎo, nǐ xiǎng gòumǎi yàopǐn ma?" Tag adds a conspiratory wink to punctuate her statement. Tag: "Well, you seem like a good guy, so... sure, you can keep an eye on us..." She takes in a breath, fully telegraphing a 'but' Tag: "Buuuut, I would prefer if you stayed some distance away. On the other side of the street basically. I don't have a problem with you, it's just that H and I need to have a conversation and we don't need anyone else involved. When we get to topside access we can reconvene, just in case I need to talk to some nosy officer who gets a bit too curious about some gamma leaving the met'." Tag is about to turn and leave when she notices Alex complaining at his bike behind Cochise, obviously having some trouble with the ignition. [Well good luck getting a locksmith down here, maybe I could try and help] Tag: "H, Cochise; hold on a sec." She makes her way around to Alex, looking at the bike. Tag: "Let me guess, RFID chip not working? Happens a lot with these older models." She produces a small multi tool from her jacket and starts jimmying the rfid reader until it comes loose. [Ever since manufacturers realized that people are more likely to just hack vehicles, they've gotten pretty lax on physical security] Tag: "You're gonna have to get some work done on this later, but it beats getting stranded down here. I hope this works..." She mumbles to herself as she rummages through various wires. Engineering 5tBzOZ5v1-61-61-61-61-61-61-6 Hits:3 It takes a couple minutes, but the bike eventually hums to life. [phew, that could have gone a lot worse] Tag: "There you go, just be sure to take it by a repair shop as soon as possible, and preferably one that won't ask why it's been hot wired." Tag then steps back to the others Tag: "Right, so let's get going."1-6·1-6·1-6·1-6·1-6·1-6·1-6

Snitch: "Hey thanks for that, guess I owe you one. Meet you topside, I'll stick around for a bit and see what's going on here."
Riding the Jerry-rigged bike back to the side alley he had originally stored it, he parks the bike so its side is facing the bar. After taking the rifle scope and commlink out of his case, he crouches behind the bike for cover in case guns start pointing his way.
[Looks like I may be working with these folks for a while, so I may as well make myself useful. Valk and the rest of them are on a job against the people Tag just worked with, so we might get something useful out of seeing what goes down here.]
Typing away at the mechanical keyboard of his comm, he sends a message to Tag
Snitch: "I don't entirely trust our friend Valk so I'll be sticking around to keep an eye on what goes down here. Give me a ping when you guys get close to the safehouse, if you're all on foot I should be able to catch up pretty quickly."

Snitch stays behind, and gets set up in a spot to observe the happenings at the Croc's Lair bar. He spots a small hover surveillance drone that was looking in his direction.
A moment later, Valk shouts out to Tag, without looking away from the doorway: "Hey, Alex I like ya chum, but yer acting damn odd, so you make sure the only thing you take out of that case is the scope - deal? Let's keep it all artic today, eh?"
Hija and Tag start walk to the upside together, with Cochise off to the side.
Rhys addresses Tag in a slightly deferential and very businesslike manner: "Miss R, I better go ahead to prevent some - complications - from occurring."
Tag, make a willpower + willpower test - your real last name is Reaves...
Rhyscontinues: "I'll be going out the same path you came in and I'll send you a message if anything out of the ordinary occurs? I'll share my comlink location with you - one way of course, so you can pace me at a comfortable distance? The group near the old subway offshot looked a bit too curious about you on the way in, I want to make sure they stay put. If I find anything that might be a problem, I'll notify you."
He then does some quick manipulations on his comlink. With Tag's approval he'll take off ahead of everyone else.
[Anyone have anything else they want to do here, or shall we wrap this up and move on to the next scene?]
