Hi everyone, I've been working on a character for a little while to join into the game if it's not too late. This would be my first play by post
game and first shadowrun anarchy game, but I've read through the rulebook, love the setting, and have played tabletop games in person for a
decade.

Background:
Alex has been at this for a while, and he’s gotten quite good at what he does. His parents suffocated from a gas leak when he was a teen,
leaving him to look after himself and his little brother J.J. Breaking into shops was a lot easier back then, with nothing more than a couple
tumbler locks separating him from the food and creds he needed to stay afloat.
Years of honing his skills with more and more daring heists broke Alex and his brother out of struggling for money, and he was able to
help his brother afford the contacts and gear needed to begin with his passion – journalism of the corruption that plagued their neighborhood.
During a B&E of a corp exec’s suite Alex found evidence that the suit helped finance a bombing of a clinic to make room for new construction.
Alex gave this info to J.J. who did his best to spread the story but any mention of the evidence was wiped from the matrix minutes after posting,
the original records fried. Knowing that he had dirt on a murderer and no legitimate way of having retribution drove Alex to becoming a killer
that night.
The two brothers are older and wiser now – J.J. became one hell of a decker, able to start with a hunch and dig up lead after lead from
the Matrix. Alex was never one for tech and couldn’t hack his way out of a loading screen, but he knows how to get into a building, take what he
needs, and get out – and when setting the truth free isn’t enough, he’s more then happy to spill the brains of some slimeball exec from 2 city
blocks away.
---------------------------
I do have that background written up, however I'm a little curious about the post saying that there was an unusual background available if
someone wanted it. Otherwise, just has some little technical questions as it'd be my first time playing, and want to make sure I have everything
right:
1: I picked the Auctioneer business clothes for the extra skill point, however chose the chameleon suit amp which increased armor - do I still
get the extra skill point? I was picturing the character wearing a suit which can change colours and design, so I could look like an executive
with a sharp suit and clean cut hair, cross a corner, and shift into a messy haired janitor wearing a uniform (it would be the same cut of
jacket, but be dirty, a different colour, have a nametag and brand, etc) If that means I'd lose the invisability that's fine, I'm picturing more
of an infiltration through impersonation kind of character.
2: I wanted to specialize in sniper rifles, but I'm not sure if I understood the rules right. I have 3 points in firearms and want to specialize
as heavily as I can into sniper rifles - he has a pistol, but he can hardly use the thing and is a little nervous up close. are all 3 points only
benefiting the sniper rifle ability? Or do I need 2 points in general firearms, and then I can start to put specialization points into sniper
rifles?
3: For his briefcase, I was picturing a weapon case for his unassembled rifle for taking into sites he's infiltrated. It would open up to show
the contents of a normal briefcase (do people still use paper and pens?) but have a false bottom which contains the rifle, scope, bipod, and
supressor (if that isn't a weapon mod I'd have to pay karma for).
4: It looks like in the weapon damage section the sniper rifle entry got a little scrambled, can someone confirm what it should read as?
I should be able to commit to daily postings, I will have an unreliable internet connection for the next month so my posting times may be a
little odd, but as of May I have the opportunity to basically have 4 months off work so this game would be a bit of a daily routine for me.
